I have the belief that parents often find their greatest support in other parents who are in a similar situation. That's why this group was started to offer a place to find information and support which can help inform/educate families. I believe that parents can grow, share, laugh and learn from each other. Support through education and social activities helps to empower parents to face the challenge of helping their child grow within their school and community. This group was started because of my own children, but now I look forward to meeting other parents with the same challenges as myself.
